I received this item cracked down the side and the shipping box was in tact so I’m inclined to believe it was shipped this way. Ace Hardware was difficult to reach, had to make several attempts just to get contact and several actual contacts to get the return set up.
At the time, it was returned, I requested full refund as I had no confidence that a 2nd item would receive good service.

This is an OEM/China product being marketed by different outfits under different brand names. Mine had a name of charming glow bought from the store which has depot in its name. Worked for just over a year -just past the warranty. Now the light has gone out which I found to be a set of LEDs in the unit. The transformer supplying power to these LEDs has gone out. Called the ‘customer support’ number listed on the product. Am told that there are no replacement parts for the product, need to go my local electrician. Luckily the transfomer has a label on it showing that it has an output of 13VAC 650mA, so until I can find a matching replacement transformer, I have an expensive 750/1500 watt heater.

JUST FANTASTIC ALL THE WAY. WHAT A GREAT PRICE AND A BEAUTIFUL ELECTRIC HEATER!! A TAD SMALLER THAN EXPECTED BUT BOY DOES IT DO ITS JOB! I HAVE A PRETTY GOOD SIZED LIVING ROOM AND IT HEATS THAT FANTASTICLY AND THEN SOME IN MY DINING ROOM! AND I HAVE AN OLDER HOME SO ITS PRETTY DRAFTY—MY HEATING BILL IS SURE TO SHRINK! THANKS SO SO SO MUCH AND WILL PROBABLY GET ANOTHER FOR MY MOM!!

I just bought this a few days ago and i love it!! it warms up my entire 4 room apartment to a stable 65 degrees (running on high) my question is approx. how much a month does it cost to run this heater say 7 hours a day? anyone have any idea? Thanks

This is a cute room decoration. As auxiliary heat in a tiny room, it might even keep you warm. But as primary heat, in an average sized room, it’s purely decorative.
As I write this, I’m sitting less than three feet from the heater, which has been running all day. It’s 61 degrees in this room, and I feel absolutely NOTHING coming from the heater. The floor directly under the heater is pleasantly warm, and standing over the heater, within a foot of it, you could warm yourself a little. That makes this a pretty lame excuse for a heater. But the ‘fire’ illusion is amusing in a dark room (and ONLY in a dark room).
So in review, it’s VERY cheap looking plastic. It’s a dust magnet that has to be wiped down daily. It has to be disassembled when the light bulb that creates the image of ‘fire’ burns out, or when too much dust collects on the inside of the front plastic panel. The mirror that creates the ‘fire’ image reflects the colour of the floor unless, all the lights are turned off. It has no thermostat. And it won’t keep you warm.
